Default WUDFHost CPU higher in Creators than Anniversary Update

Hi Alban, thanks for the response.

Just to provide some info to hopefully help with testing. I have an HP Envy and when running Win10 1607, the 8.2 M0 driver fixed the WUDFHost.exe issue (previously it was running at a constant 30%).

Since I have upgraded to Win10 1703, the problem has come back. It appears that the 8.2 M0 graphics drivers are no longer compatible with my device, and while the 8.2 M1 solves that issue, the 30% CPU due to WUDFHost.exe has returned!

Hi MCat,

Interesting data I believe we would need to look into. I spinned this off to a new thread to have something clean/clear.
So far, we have seen improvements in the OS rather than worsening and I don't wish to miss this as the Fall Creators Update will soon be reaching completion.

Would you please use the third link in my forum signature and post the ZIP file generated by our customer support tool? Only employees will be able download it.
I would be interested in understanding when this happens (any action, or particular application) and having a printscreen of your desktop could also bring info to help reproduce (layout, orientation...)

Kind regards,
Alban
