Default VMware Fusion full screen behaviour

I run a number of virtual windows machines on an MBA 2.0 8Gb. When switching to full screen on one of the Lenovo 24" panels (1920x1200), the top segment (limited to the windows titlebar) does not display the mouse anymore.

When moving the mouse towards the top bar, the mouse is displayed properly until it reaches the lower edge of top taskbar of any maximized window within the VM. Then the pointer stalls and disappears (from bottom to top). It still functions though, even though it becomes invisible.

Hi,

Would it be possible to capture some photos which help us understand the problem better? A short video demonstrating the issue would be even better.

Thanks,
Michal

Hi Michael,

Can you access the following link?

Should be public, I upload a quick video (LQ) in which you see the mouse pointer disappearing and reappearing

Thanks for the video, we can access it without problems. We had already made a speculative fix for cursor handling and I have just tried to replicate a similar scenario to yours, and it appears it works fine. So, hopefully next release will fix the problem
