Problem with Asus VW223B in Windows 7.
In Windows Vista when i install DisplayLink Software my monitor (Asus VW223B) get native res (1680x1050) in desctop and in games too (using vga connection).
In Windows 7 when i install DisplayLink Software in Display Properties appears 2 display (1-universal monitor non-pnp , 2-VW223b as usb display). 1- can't get native res 1680x1050 in desctop and games too (after reboot resolution installed (1600x1200 or 1600x1024). 2 display have native res 1680x1050 but time of response too long and after every reboot need to change entrance (vga to usb) in monitor settings. I want use my monitor as single vga display in native resolution 1680x1050 on desctop and games too. Please fix this problem. p.s sorry for bad english... Hi
We believe this problem will be fixed by v5.2 M2 which will be available later this month. Please retest with this release once available. Thanks Wim |

i've found temporary decision this problem, when turn off pc and turn off electricity on ~10 seconds, then turn on your pc and in windows my first display determined as ASUS WV223B and resolution 1650x1080 is native. But on next reboot resolution 1680x1050 don't native and my first display again (universal not-pnp screen).
Version on this page at 8 December 2009 (5.2.22663). And why updates on this page don't automatically upgrade on displaylink program??? Where is i can found changelog??? Can you resolve this problem??? p.s sorry for bad english... |

I used to have this problem with my VW223B when using the VGA connection. It was an issue with the Beta Version of windows being unable to detect the EID(sp?) of the monitor.
