USB device detected, drivers up to date, but no display
I've removed and reinstalled the DisplayLink software, making sure to use the latest drivers available. The device shows up in device manager (no errors or warnings). However, the DL tray icon does not show up. I've tried different monitors on the USB device, all known to be working). I've been able to replicate this problem on at least two computers.
I'm attaching the report file from the diagnostic tool. |

Hi,
Are you able to try other USB ports on your notebook? Thanks, James |

I've tried on multiple computers, on multiple USB ports, and the result is the same on each. Other computers were running Win7, Win8, XP. I've also tried different monitors connected to the device. Should I assume that the device is dead?

Hi,
On the Dell you reported this issue can you try upgrading the graphics driver to this one? http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/...&categoryId=VI There were some USB connection errors in the logs - do you have another USB cable you can try? Thanks, James |
