Default 2560 X 1080 Issue

Currently i am running a 2016 macbook air with a Sabrent 3.0 USB docking station.
I have 2 monitors running a 23" and a 25" 21:9 LG. When i plug only the 25" in i get the 2560 x 1080 resolution great but as soon as i plug the other monitor in i get a Displaylink msg in the top corner saying the resolution has been lowered. But as soon as i unplug the other monitor my 2560 res comes back. I am running the latest Beta displaylink driver out as well as the 25" monitor is running HDMI and the 23" monitor is running DVI.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

The docking stations based on a single DL-3000 and DL-5000 support two screens only up to HD resolutions (and thereabouts). To use higher resolutions only one monitor can be connected.
Please let me know if this was not advertised correctly by the manufacturer and we'll let them know of the issue.

For your use case I'd recommend an additional USB video adapter connected to the docking station, or a dock that can support multiple higher resolution screens. I believe Dell and Targus have one for example.
