Default Windows 8.1 with 7.7 Beta 1 or 2 crash a VM's IBM Notes 9

This is an admittedly strange bug to report.

I have a triple monitor Windows 8.1 system, Lenovo W520 laptop, set up like this:
1920x1080 left (HDMI from dock)
2560x1440 center (DisplayPort)
1920x1080 right (Lenovo USB 3.0 dock DVI (DisplayLink))

I run VMware Workstation 10:
https://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-26695
and use it to run a Windows 7 Pro 64 bit VM running, full-time.

If I have IBM Notes 9 Social Edition running in that VM, and running with its databases open on multiple monitors, it'll crash as soon as I switch the VM back to just one monitor, such as automatically happens after every system suspend/resume.

Notes crashes abruptly, all related processes simply stop instantly, with no Notes crash reporting.

I realize that's a beta of VMware Workstation, but still thought you should know, in case it's not too late to look into this. I won't be able to recreate, because I've gone back to non-beta DisplayLink 7.6 M2 drivers, where the problem doesn't occur nearly as often, and am headed away from my triple monitor configuration Wed Sep 15 2014, for a month.

FYI, Windows 8.1 is running NVIDIA Quadro 1000M driver 9.18.13.2702 from 9/1/2013. Using other NVIDIA or Lenovo-provided-drivers experienced the same issue.

I hope this helps.
