Default Multiple Displayport

Im looking at buying a Belkin USB 3.0 Dual Video Docking Stand for Ultrabooks, which uses the DisplayLink 3900 chipset, and has displayport. Because Displayport can carry up to 4 monitors over the same cable, and allows daisy chained monitors, can I use this dock to drive multiple monitors?

The DisplayPort output is DP1.1 standard, so does not carry multiple video streams. You need DP1.2 to drive multiple DP displays.

However the same solution can be achieved by using USB to DP adapters to add additional DP displays to the PC.
