Unhappy Display repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting

I have 2 NEC MultiSync EA244wmi connected to a Dell D3100 dock using HDMIs.
My dell xps 9350 laptop has the latest windows 10 home edition.
They works fine before I unplugged one monitor from the dock and connect to a mac book pro, which has a HDMI port. When I plug the monitor's hdmi back into the dock. It won't display again, shows no hdmi signal. Tried dozens of solution, installed latest bios, erased the displaylink software using the tool provided by displaylink, and re-install, reboot, nothing work. After I update the drivers, display repeatedly discontinue. I tested the cable and monitors, they are both fine. I replaced the monitor with another dell monitor, the setup works. The NEC monitor works without problem on other computers. So it is very likely a software problem. Could you please help, I have ran the displaylink diagnose utility. Please see the attached log result. Thanks

It's a common problem. I suggest returning the adapter because it won't be fixed any time soon.

Sorry man.

Default Quick fix

I think i found a quick work around. I think the chiming is the dock not liking one of the monitors. I have two monitors, but both are different. Also different in resolution capabilities.

I've found that if I turn off one of the monitors, then the problem stops.

I hope it helps.
