Problem with Asus mb169b+ losing connectivity on Surface Pro 3
Hey everyone, I am having a problem with my Asus mb169b+ with the latest DisplayLink drivers losing connectivity when hooked up to my Surface Pro 3 on Windows 10 (latest anniversary update). It will connect but then lose connectivity/reconnect frequently.
Here are some more details: Works on: * Asus Laptop, Windows 10, latest anniversary updates, USB 3.0 drive. * Surface Pro 4, Anker powered USB 3.0 dock, Windows 10, just before anniversary updates. Does not work on: * Surface Pro 3, same Anker powered USB 3.0 dock, Windows 10, latest anniversary updates. What I've tried so far: * Uninstalling/reinstalling drivers * Switching out for multiple powered USB 3.0 docks * Using a Y-Cable to split the power to a high powered USB port * Alternate power sources * Alternate monitors (both brand new) * Completely reformatting/reinstalling Windows on the Surface Pro 3 So far, nothing seems to be working. Does anyone know why this would be the case? |
