Default Maximum number of adapters/monitors for Mac OSX 10.9.4?

I'm hoping to get some feedback here to see what the highest number of supported adapters folks have been able to get running. I've had 4 DL-165 based adapters working on my MBP on Mac OS X 10.9.4 using the 2.2 drivers, but I haven't been able to go past that.

I saw some very old posts (2011) talking about the maximum being 4 on a Mac (http://plugable.com/2011/05/19/insta...ivers-on-a-mac) but no mention of that limit on the DisplayLink site.

Has anyone gotten up to 6 monitors running on a Mac?

Sorry for the double post... I didn't see the message about needing admin approval the first time around...

The driver can connect a maximum of 4 screens. On Mavericks however the user experience with more than one is not adequate in our opinion because of the OS issues so we only support one.

Hope this helps

Default Yosemite

I am running 3 on Yosemite, 1 thunderbolt and 2 using displaylink. The experience is poor and I cannot add a 4th display.
