Default iMo Touch issues (as in, not working)

Hi all,

I've just recently bought a iMo touch device (USB\VID_17E9&PID_02FC&REV_0104) and it is not working as supposed.
First some information:
OS: Windows 7 Professional x64 (up to date)
Graphics: Ati Radeon 3300 (ATI 790GX chipset) with Catalyst's 10.11
DisplayLinkDriver: 11/26/2010,5.5.29055.0 (on the AT-7 device under device manager)

The situation is as follows, although I get image on the iMo device, said image is a static image, as in, whatever was on the buffer when the device turned on.
From time to time the device appears to disconnect and enter a connect/disconnect loop (which can be pretty bad when for some reason windows remembers to mirror my main monitor).

If this helps, the screen actually works sometimes (the best I managed was 5 seconds) up to the point where I get a nice scanline effect which means the image is frozen.

Any ideas on how to solve this issue and get a working device?

Thanks

Does the device appear in the device manager?

Also, could you use a different USB cable and see if the problem continues?

Regards

Well, usually, the device shows up in the device manager. Currently I get an unknown device in the usb display adapters node.
Using another cable the issue still stands (had another two usb->one mini-usb laying around).

Thank you for providing this information. The logs shows a lot of USB errors which mean that the device is malfunctioning (cannot communicate with other hardware) This is why the device is not recognized by the OS and does not show up in the device manager. Unfortunately, you should contact the manufacturer for a replacement.
