Cannot find 2nd Diplay
My computer did an update and now will find my 2nd monitor. I've downloaded all new Display Link updates and still nothing. How can I get this corrected so I can have my 2nd monitor working?

Hello,
Unfortunately, I do not have enough information to know what took place on your particular machine and whose update was installed to break your installation. Would you please run our Customer Support Tool as detailed in the last link of my forum signature so we can look at what is taking place? This should list the current status along with what was recently installed. Kind regards, Alban

Same issue but with further information...
Hi there,
I am having the same issue with a plug and play monitor through my dell D3100. So this is the issue:- All the driver are loaded etc I need a resolve on my monitor (I use it specifically mounted on a portrait stand for document writing so swapping out wont work) The monitor will work directly plugged into the laptop The monitor will work plugged into the DisplayLink through my tablet A friends monitor will work plugged into the DisplayLink through the laptop The monitor will however not work plugged into the DisplayLink through my laptop! I am lost to where the drivers can be updated if the laptop hosts the screen directly (laptop migrates the plug and play) and the DisplayLink hosts the monitor to other devices (DisplayLink migrates the plug and play). Ahhh WHY will it not work. I need to have it plugged in through the DisplayLink for other users of our office and other devices of mine during a working day. Please help me. Oh if it helps I keep getting the Device DISPLAY\VES3700\4&354c3071&0&UID50533120 was not migrated. (when in the DisplayLink) Thanks Trub |
