Default External monitors not recognized

I got a Plugable Superspeed USB 3.0 docking station with two monitors hooked up, one via DVI and one via HDMI. I tried using it with my Windows 10 10074 laptop. I ran Windows Update and got DisplayLink drivers installed through that. I also tried installed the Alpha 10 drivers. Nothing I do makes the monitors show up in my monitor properties. I can't extend my screen to the monitors. I checked for the two registry entries and they were not present. This was not an upgrade from a previous Alpha release. The USB peripherals plugged into the docking station are recognized, so I at least know it can see the hub.

Support file attached, not sure what else to do here.

Exclamation Warning: nVidia 352.84 first WHQL driver can break DisplayLink

I had to roll back to the 352.63 to get my monitor working again.
Details: I roll with 10074, latest DisplayLink drivers. Lately it was working great. nVidia 880M GTX SLI, AOC E2251fwu. The nVIdia driver update unfortunately broke the constellation.

Default Thanks!

I just updated to 352.84 yesterday. I didn't even consider that that might be my problem when trying to set up my docking station. I downgraded to 352.63 and after a reboot, the monitors worked no problem. Thanks!

We've merged these two threads as they both relate to new nvidia drivers.

Hi,

This issue will be fixed in our next release which we don't quite have an ETA for yet. Thanks for your patience, hopefully the wait won't be too long.

Thanks,
Paul

It's a lesson related to DisplayLink monitors, that you not only depend on DisplayLink's drivers but also on your GPU's drivers. People with Intel integrated graphics or AMD GPUs may experience totally different behavior.

Issue is still present for me. Upgraded to 7.9 Beta 1 and WHQL nvidia drivers and still do not have any recognition of external monitors.
