But if I plug the monitor directly into the SAME laptop, I get the 1680x1050 resolution. Where is the breakdown?

Hi,

I 've got the same problem here. If I connect my monitor directly, I can go up to 1900x1200.
If I use DisplayLink, I cannot go any further than 1680 x 1050.

Also note that the graphic card reports different modes when using DisplayLink.

Thanks in advance!

Default 1680x1050 x Windows 7 64 = Black Screen

Hi! I´m using a Displaylink 024C on a Windows 7 64 Bits.

I´ve three screens, LG Flatron L226WTQ, wich are 22' and 1680x1050 of native resolution.

Two displayer are connected on my videocard and works fine.

I bought a displaylink usb adapter and connected it on my usb port and, with a digital cable (DVI), to the monitor.

But, if I set the native resolution, 1680x1050, the screen becames black. If a set to a lower resolution it´s works, but is impossible to me works with a lower resolution.

Any ideias?

Thank´s,

David
