Default 1.8 Alpha 1 - garbled image with HiDPI

I'm running OS X 10.7.3 on a mid-2009 MBP with an NVIDIA GeForce 9400M (256 MB). I'm using a Kensington M01063 DisplayLink adapter with a Dell 2407WFPHC display.

The alpha doesn't work if I try to use a HiDPI resolution: the image is garbled, with parts of windows missing and the mouse pointer invisible. It works fine when I don't try HiDPI mode. (I don't know whether HiDPI works with the previous version of the driver.) Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Unfortunately HiDPI resolutions are not supported yet in the current drivers (both 1.8a1 and 1.7). Thanks
