Default Dsiplay keeps switching from laptop to desktop moniotrs every 15 to 30 seconds

Hi all,

First post here. I had to move my computer yesterday, everything was working great until I hooked it back up. After this the screens kept flipping back and fourth between he monitors attached to the DisplayLink and the laptop screen. Making it impossible to work, obviously. I have searched the forms for a solution but have not been successful

This is what I have done:
1. Rebooted several times.
2. Restated the DisplayLink device
3. Updated the DisplayLink software.
4. Uninstalled the DisplayLink software/drivers and reinstalled it.
5. Updated drivers.

I am running Win 10 with latest updates. No other new software installed in the last month.

Any suggestions? Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom

Default Same issue

The wife and I both recently had our work laptops upgraded and we share a docking station that worked fine with our previous laptops, but after upgrading to Windows 10 machines the monitors are constantly alternating between the laptop display and the two external displays. I'm on an HP laptop, her's is a Lenovo.

Default No solutions? is my device a paper weight now?

I was hoping for a solution to this issue, but I guess no one has any ideas.

Hello,

Would you please be able to post logs so I can look into it?

Because it will keep swapping, you will have to do this blind.
Start the customer support tool, and position your mouse pointer on the gather logs button.
Then, plug the device in, let it do the screen-tennis, and click on the mouse without moving it.
After 5 minutes, disconnect the adapter.
Then, please post the zip here. The last link in my forum signature shows how to use the tool.

Then, when you're finished, please use the following FAQ to clear your monitor persistence.
http://support.displaylink.com/knowl...rticles/736116

Replug the device, can you still reproduce the screen-tennis?
Even if this clears the issue, please post your logs.

Kind regards,
Alban
