Blackout for 5-10 sec Win7 Enterprise 64Bit
Hi Displaylink.
I've a room full of teachers that've gotten 30 screens, keyboards and mice for their new work stations. We connected those through 'Targus USB 2.0 Docking Stations'. To the problem!: When they stress their screens abit, like watchin a clip on YouTube then about 10-30 seconds into the clip, their screen simply turns black for 10 seconds. After The 10 sec blackout, it's all normal again. It's the first day we use those Targus Displaylink, but we still need to setup 28 workstations. So i hope you guys can help us! Thanks! |

Logs
They're all using Following setup:
Dell Lattitude E5530 Samsung SyncMaster S24C450 02AA Targus Docking Station With Video USB 2.0 MODEL: ACP51EUZ The Targus Displaylink, is connected directly. The only difference from the office PC's to those we're setting up now, is that they use a converter from DVI to VGA cable. So we have no clue why this bug occur. By the way, i've tried using both the windows update driver, and the following one, same error. Edit: I found out that the whole Box dies, and not only the display part. Edit 2: Some of the installations causes IE to crash and being unable to start, eaven without addons. Last edited by jaeb; 08-08-2013 at 10:37 AM. Reason: More information |

Hi,
Can you try the following: 1. Install the latest Intel graphics driver: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Sea...01&FamilyId=39 2. Install the latest USB 3.0 host controller driver: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...?DwnldID=21129 3. Upgrade to the latest DisplayLink software: http://www.displaylink.com/support/downloads.php Thanks, James |

I've fixed it.
It seems like it's fixed.
I changed power options to high-performance. And plugged in the Docking in the back of the PC??? Now there is no delay, no lag and no blackout... Don't ask me why this worked. Thanks for quick answers and good support. |
