Default Will this work?

Hi all

Newbie here so pls bare with me

I use a MacBook (retina 12inch), ptr uses a Microsoft Surface
We have one home office with two screens
Both would like to use dual screens setup with our devices via the one USB dock. Looking at:
Toshiba Dynadock 4K Universal Docking Station USB3.0 HDMI 10/100/1000 DVI-I MIC
Specs state Mac OS X supported by Displaylink driver

Im expecting download driver to MacBook, plug into dock and Hey Presto!?

Is it that simple??

Hello Tanya

This dock is working with Windows and OSX as this is universal solution. And this is as simple as you need is just a proper driver loaded for the host computer.

What are the native monitor resolutions you are going to use in your home office setup? Does any of your monitor have UHD resolution 4k?

Thanks,
Adam

Hi Adam

Hmmmm, that I do not know.

I have managed to get it connected and it works fine until I use Citrix. I log onto a Citrix app for work but I seem to be confined to one window. I can move the window from screen to screen, but if I open up any programs or files within the Citrix app window, I can't move them to the secondary screen. Is this just a limitation with Citrix? I had a look at the settings within Citrix, but found nothing helpful.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
