Post ATI catalyst 10.9 and 5.5 beta with ATI 5970= fail

The beta drivers do not work with cat 10.9. I have had to roll back to 10.6 drivers - from a restore point i made a while back. I have not tried 10.7 or 10.8.

System is Win7 x64, i7, 8 gb ram, ATI 5970, Samsung P2370HD 1920 x 1080, ViewSonic VA 2213wm 1920 x 1080 and IBM Thinkvision 19inch DVI 1280 x 1024.
Samsung and ViewSonic are off the 5970. The ThinkVision is on a Winstar USB to DVI adapter

Display Link and ATI should have a good chat about this issue. I don't want to be stuck on these catalyst drivers.

-----------

This is an identical post to a reply I made in the Blue screen of beath :/ thread in these forums.

This has been explained by Wim here

"We have reproduced the BSOD with 10.8 CCC and will have a fix in our release of v5.5, which should be around the end of the month.

We've not found any problems on 10.9 yet, but this could only occur on certain setups. Please note, that we do not support ATI Crossfire configurations today so problems could be found if you're using crossfire and move to v10.9."

You can also try installing cat 10.7.

Thanks
