Overall, the preview drivers are working really well compared to the last 7.2 release. The mouse is very responsive and I don't see as many screen artifacts when typing.

The only thing I still have a problem with is the inability to play encrypted content from Netflix, Hulu and other Windows 8 modern apps.

The scaling issue appears with any monitor, not just DisplayLink attached. This is a half-baked attempt by MS to address usability of the Windows Desktop on small high resolution monitors. Hopefully they will get it sorted out before RTM.

Default New fonctionnality Works on Windows 8.1 with DisplayLink

Hi,

I have a laptop, with kensington dock and touch screen (plugged with dvi and usb port).

On windows 8, I needed to unplug and plug the dock (when the pc start is finished) to have touch function activated when I used dock, not when it was connected directly.

On Windows 8.1 and beta displaylink driver, it works!!!

Can displaylink invent a driver that make it works in Windows 8 please?

I'm french so I wish my english is understandable.

Thanks.
