Adapter doesn't work...
Hello,
I've This adapter since 6 months (so i'm really patient), because they say "compatible mac" so... http://www.amazon.fr/Nouveauté-trans...239074&sr=8-29 I tested the alpha version, unfortunately it does not work for me. I tried everything, changing USB port, reboot, ... Nothing. No issue ? Really important for my job. Configuration : OSX LION 18.2 Mac early 2011 (end of the year 2011) macbook pro Screen on the adapter : Samsung F2380M |

It looks like you have a device that is not based on DisplayLink attached at some time? Is this the device that doesn't work?

DL3x00 and public alpha driver: nothing works?
I seem to have the same problem:
I installed the public alpha driver, rebooted, waited 2 minutes and then plugged in the USB cable. Nothing happens. All I see in the Console.app: Code:

Are you sure you are attaching a DisplayLink device? Can you grab logs when the device is connected? Thanks, Michal |

I'm using the Targus USB3 SuperSpeed, model no: ACP70EU. This DisplayLink device works fine on Windows laptops. |

Very interesting. Do you happen to have a USB 2.0 A-B cable that you could connect the dock to the Mac with, instead of USB 3.0 cable which was shipped with it? That would help with diagnosing the problem further.
