Default Chromebook Native Support

I'm having trouble getting Chromebook native support to work.

I upgraded to the R51 beta channel and plugged my Toshiba Chromebook 2 into a Toshiba Dynadock U3.0 and a Anker USB 3.0 Dock. Neither dock worked for video.

According to these two sites:

http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/chrome

R51 should work with these docks and my device.

Please advise.

Hi

The support should be enabled for all Intel Broadwell notebooks. From this article, it looks like Toshiba refreshed the Chromebook 2 to be Broadwell last year:

Is it possible you have an older version, which is not Broadwell based? This would explain why it is not working.

Must be it. I just had an idea though.

Are there any Chromebox's that are compatible with your docks?

I want to get one and set it up next to my dock, so when I leave my laptop at work or in my car, I can just plug into that. You should build a chromebox dock so that the monitors and keyboard still work when a laptop is not docked.

I am planning on buying Either an ASUS C320 Flip with an Intel Core m3 processor or a Samsung Chromebook Pro with a Core M3 processor.

Will my ASUS MB169B+ Portable monitor work with either of these?

It does not work with my Acer C11 Chromebook (at least in any fashion I can discover) that uses an Intel processor.

This is quite important to me, prior to a big ( for my budget) buying decision.
