Default Displaylink and BSODs

Anyone have any luck in getting one of these to work with Windows 7
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....=STRK:MEWNX:IT

I have 2 hooked up to one of these bought 2 weeks ago. No games just MS Office etc.

In addition to a Benq 23inch monitor hooked up to VGA output of the laptop for 3 monitors in total. I've had to reinstall twice after suffering BSODs 2 days or so after the usb display adaptors have worked fine. My system is Windows 7 XP service pack 1 and my graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce 310m.

Anyone got any suggestions? I am not attempting a reinstall until I am 100% sure it will work as on both prior installations removing the displaylink adaptors and drivers did not prevent the BSODs.

Can you check you have the latest NVidia drivers installed for your card? This could cause the BSODs. If you have the latest version, can you post the minidump.dmp files from c:\windows\minidump.

This should tell us what caused the BSODs.

Thanks

Wim

Hi Wim, sorry I haven't got back here, I do have the latest version of the drivers installed now however I haven't reinstalled the display link drivers as I have been reluctant to go through this again.

Is there an older version of the drivers I can go back to?
My Card is a GeForce 310m the driver version is 266.72
