Default ASUS Windows 8.1 AOC Blank Screen

I recently bought the E1659FWU USB monitor. The monitor is recognized but only displays a blank screen. I can move windows to it but they don't display. It worked fine for a couple of days and then stopped displaying. It does have power since it displays the AOC logo when it is plugged in. I am using an ASUS Windows 8.1 laptop with NVIDIA GT 750M. I've installed and uninstalled the drivers (7.6M1, 7.6M2 and even the current Beta). I've used the clean up tool between driver installs. None of them work. I've attached log files from the DisplayLink Tool. Also, when looking at the Screen Resolution screen, the monitor is listed but the message "Your resolution is lower than 1200 x 900. Some items might not fit on your screen" is displayed even though the selected resolution is 1366 x 768. The monitor is being plugged directly into a USB 3.0 on the laptop (I have tried them all).

Hi,

Can you try disabling the Nvidia GPU in Device Manager to see if this helps?

Thanks,
James

Thanks. That did it. I disabled the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M under Display Adapters. Basically, this means that the monitor will only work with the the onboard Intel 4600 driver running. Is there a update in the works that would allow the NViDIA to run with the AOC monitor attached?

I wanted to follow up. I re-enabled the NVIDIA driver after the monitor was working to see if it still works. It does. So it seems the problem is at start up.
