Default Thinkpad E130 Problem

heyhey...
just got my MB168B+ but i cant seem to get it to work with my Lenovo Thinkpad E130.. as soon as i plug it in i get the "new device sound" every 3 seconds... again and again..
in the device manager i shortly see it popping up.. sometimes it does this non-stop.. sometimes it simply stops and nothing happens.. sometimes it stops and ive got an USB Display Adapter in Recovery Mode in the device Manager (but this only happens when i connect it to usb 2.0)

i tried the monitor on 2 other systems and it works fine.. as soon as i plug it in the asus logo pops up on the monitor and when i install the driver the monitor simply works..

what i tried so far:

- all usb slots (including 3.0 and 2.0) -> same behaviour
- windows 7 SP1 and windows 8.1 -> no difference
- installing latest usb 3.0 root driver from intel
- changing any option in bios regarding usb
- disabling "Allow the computer to turn off this device...." in device manager on all USB Root Hubs
- Advanced Power settings -> selective USB suspend setting -> disabled

i tried the support file tool check but obvously he gave me the error of no device connected when i did it.. but i attached the log anyway..

the fact that as soon as i connect the monitor to another PC (and the ASUS logo pops up on it) makes me feel like its a hardware issue.. something like "not enough power" maybe ? but shouldnt the power output be the same on all usb slots?

Any ideas?

UPDATE:

I tested some more.. and the monitor seems to run without problem on 2 other laptops.. and it doesnt run (exactly the same error) on the thinkpad edge e135..

so it seems like it is a problem with lenovo or atleast the edge "e" series..
