Problem Trying to Use Second Screen Only on Plugable UD-3000
I have a Surface Pro 2 attached to a Plugable UD-3000 USB dock and the latest DisplayLink driver/software (7.6.55049.0) and anytime I try to just change the display settings to "Second Screen Only" it turns the tablet display off, goes to the second display (large Dell monitor) but then rotates the monitor 90 degrees clockwise. I have tried full uninstall, clean and re-install and this still persists.
Please help, Mike |

Sounds like the auto rotation of the tablet is kicking in. Can you configure this setup using Windows Display Properties instead to make sure rotation is not enabled on the DisplayLink display?

Hi Wim,
This behavior occurs regardless of which way I try to change the settings (e.g. Window Control Panel, DisplayLink Task Icon, etc.). Even if I uncheck the auto-rotation box, still rotates. Mike |
