Unhappy Windows 10 BSOD Display Link version 8.0 M2

I have a windows 10 systems that I just loaded 8.0M2 driver and everything works fine. But as soon as i reboot I get BSOD or restart that there is an issue and Windows cannot start. Only way to get get system to restart is by resetting Windows or using restore point of right before I installed Display Link..

System is MSI Dominator Pro Laptop
NVidia GeForce GTX 980M

Any ideas on what could be causing the issue and a possible fix??

Have also tried the 7.9M7 driver with the same results, works great on install but on reboot causes BSOD and windows will not load unless I us "reset Windows" or boot from my restore point..

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to report this.
Would you please be able to post the .zip created by our customer support tool so I can look into the crash dump call stacks?
How to use the tool is in my forum post signature.
Kind regards,
Alban

Andrew,

Have you gathered the logs like suggested in the previous post?
A BSoD can have numerous reasons... We received the logs of that particular user who was using the very first Windows 10 without the November 2015 major "service pack"-like update. He was advised to update to v1511 and we have not heard anything since.

Kind regards,
Alban
