display Link corrupts Excel 2007 graphics

Hello,

I'm running into some issues with my Excel 2007. The problem is the screen refresh for Excel slows down dramatically when I have the Display link software installed. For example, when I call up a spreadsheet, it takes a long time to general the sheet onto the screen. The Excel issue goes away when I uninstall the Display Link Software. Excel works perfectly without Display Link software installed.

I have the following;
Dual Monitor with on board Intel graphics (Dell and Samsung monitors)
Acer Aspire i3
Windows 7 Home Premium

Display Link model (not sure), but has USB with DVI and sticker on back reads UGA 1920*1080
Installed link software version 6.1 to support (third) monitor Dell

Anybody with ideas,..would love to hear

Are you using a basic graphics theme with v6.1? The sheet might not refresh properly if you are. The fixes are to either use aero or move to v6.3 where this should be fixed.
