User Complaints of Slugish, slow refresh

Have multiple users in office environment using Display Link USB adapter.
Most have 24" some 27" LED monitor/screens.
Some users have been complaining that the extended display being fed by the DisplayLink adapter is rubbery, sluggish, slow to respond, mouse has to play catch up, etc.

Is there a solution for this or shall I advise my customer to ditch the DisplayLink adapters and get a dual head video card?
All they are doing is Word, Excel, Outlook, IE, etc., and it's painful.

Tried this, did not work, next?

Follow these steps to enable Desktop Windows Manager:

1. Click the Orb (Start) in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.
2. Type in: "Services.msc" (without the quotes) into the Start Search textbox. If prompted by the UAC, provide a password or confirmation. Click Continue.
3. Scroll down until you locate the entry that is labeled: “Desktop Window Manager Session Manager”
4. Right-click on this service. Select Start from the context menu.
5. Right click once again on the entry. Select Properties from the context menu.
6. Go to the “General tab.” Change the Start up Type to "Enabled." Click OK.

I suspect the users might be using a basic graphics theme. Can you try the new V7.0 Beta 1 on our downloads page (http://www.displaylink.com/support/downloads.php) and see if this help?
