My laptop has switchable graphics, Intel HD and Radeon HD 6490M. I've tried installing multiple versions of the DisplayLink drivers (DisplayLink-6.3M0, DisplayLink_7.0M0, and DisplayLink-7.0M2), to no avail. I believe there is a conflict with Samsung's display drivers (VGA_AMD_8.951.9.3000), which unfortunately are the only ones I've found that will install. Is this a known issue, and if so (or if not), are there any workarounds I can try? Thanks!

Can you try disabling the Radeon HD 6490M (perhaps can be done in the BIOS), so just the Intel GPU appears to the OS? This may work correctly with DisplayLink software.

I tried this, several versions of this idea, but it still won't work, even after installing standalone Intel HD Graphics drivers. I've also tried it the other way, just disabling the Intel HD Adapter, but I have even less luck that way. The actual error message I get from the systray notification area after installing the DisplayLink drivers and then hooking up the adapter via the USB cable is, "Your drivers are not compatible with your StarTech USB32DPPRO device. Go to the manufacturer's support site or www.displaylink.com..." Could it be I have a faulty DisplayLink adapter? I've tried it with two different USB 3.0 cables connected to my computer, and two different ports. Or am I just SOL, thank you Samsung?

Thanks for your help, any other ideas?
