Malfuncioning USB 3.0 UGA

I have been using the plugable USB 3.0 UGA display adapter the past 2 months and it has been working great and all of a sudden just now it kept disconnecting and connecting and finally died.

Windows says usb is not recognizeable. What happened? :confused:

It's model USB3-HDMI-DVI
DisplayLink DL-3500

Any help suggestion would be appreciated.
