Hello,
Our company recently updated our operating systems from Windows Xp 32bit to Windows 7 enterprise 64Bit as standard across all our machines.
I've had a look around but haven't been able to locate any information really on how to solve the problem we are having with the Toshiba Dynadock u3.0 (we purchased around 30 of them) which seem to use the display link technology.
we are currently using and having problems with :
Google Earth
AutoDesk AutoCAD 2010 and later products (seems to install fine)
we are looking to use the Docks in part of our office to enable hot-desking office as a test before trying to roll out to the rest of the office and possible encourage further hot desking.
the problem we are finding with the above applications are :
when the products start they instantly close to application, i think from reading this is something to do with the mirror driver.
in some cases after install these products work fine, but after a while, could be right after install or a few months later the products stop working with the above problem.
removing the display link driver resolve the problem.
the new drivers we tryed from Tosiba's website did not cure the problem.
When using the latest software drivers i found not all the devises were being installed and detected properly, possibly down to how windows 7 Enterprise deals with driver installs
so looking for a bit of help/advise or clarification.
