Nothing Happens when i plug in device

I recently purchased the usb 3.0 multidisplay adapter from amazon.com. I was elated to receive the product as i am a drafter. I installed the software and was able to see it pop up when plugged in. The device never functioned as it keeps coming up with an audio error. As of lately when i plug in the device, Nothing happens, no recognition by my pc. I am really frustrated. I downloaded the support tool and dont know where to send the results.

Did you do a 'Compatibility Check' with the debugging tool?
It should tell you what problems you are having hopefully.
