the problem with Google Chrome mentioned at http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=339 has returned in version 7.4M2.
7.4M0 did not have the problem.
the mentioned workaround "Enter the –reduce-gpu-sandbox parameter as the last part of the "Target”" string" does not work though
my google chrome version is 30.0.1599.101 m

Firefox 24 is affected too.
Can you give more details on this? I am using the same version of Google Chrome on Windows 7 with 4 DisplayLink displays and v7.4 M2 and not seen the problem. I'm sure there are others doing the same after this bug bit us before and not seen the problem.
Log files might help as described here:

System Compatibility Check gives me:
DisplayLink Installer has detected 3rd party USB graphics software installed: SMSC
This software is not compatible with DisplayLink USB graphics software and must be uninstalled before DisplayLink software can operate correctly.
everything seems to work ok though, and has worked ok for a year or so with previous versions of DisplayLink software.
except for this problem i have now.
please advice.
