In comparison to 7.4M2 I found that 7.5M0 pushes the CPU into turboboost a lot more often. This is also confirmed by TPFancontrol that indicates rising temperatures and a fan that kicks in more often.
Reverting to 7.4M2 brings behavior back to normal
