I've been using my DisplayLink for a couple of years with no problems, I just got an upgraded laptop and every time I install the DisplayLink drivers/software Windows blue screens on boot up.

I've tried a number of different versions of the software v6.4 which I used previously as well as 7.4 and 7.5 but all are giving the same problem. I did verify that I have the latest video card drivers as well.

Any thoughts?

Hi any progress on this? Is there something I can do to provide more information?

Hi,

Yes please -
A full memory dump could help on this. To create one, the following command has to be executed in a command prompt window opened as Administrator:

"reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\CrashControl /v CrashDumpEnabled /t REG_DWORD /d 1"

Then a machine reboot will be required for the above to take effect.

After you hit the BSOD again please upload the new logs.

Thanks,
James
