Displaylink and games

I have a dell XPS 12 and when I play games without display link everything is fine.

When I plug in DisplayLink the system will run for a bit and then lock up while playing a game.

It use to work fine.

I have done the following to troubleshoot the issue.

I uninstalled the drivers.
Ran the cleaning utility
reinstalled the drivers.

It is still have the issue.

I suffer from a similar issue, but in my case it's not the same depending on the game. It was fine when I was playing Hitman (http://softwarepuppy.com/search/Hitman.html) and went crazy when I played some other shooters.
