I have a Toshiba mobile LCD monitor model PA3923U-2LC3. My computer is a Dell 17 7737 with a GeForce 750M graphics card and Intel integrated graphics for external displays. I am running Windows 8.1 Pro.

I have uninstalled all DisplayLink software, run the cleaner, and reinstalled using the latest driver.

I can tell from the power button that the mobile monitor has power. When booting, the mobile monitor flashes with the Windows splash screen, then goes dark. Nothing I have tried will allow me to use the mobile monitor at all.

I ran the diagnosis software. It said everything passed. I have attached the log from the system information portion of the diagnosis software.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Hi,

Can you try disabling the Nvidia GPU in the BIOS?

Thanks,
James

Phoenix SecureCore BIOS. No disable option for GPU.

BTW, this is a UEFI set up.

Hi,

Ah, sorry I mis-read the original post.

Do you have both ends of the Y cable attached to your PC?

I tried that to no avail.

I did find a post on this site that advised disabling the GeForce 750M in device manager. That fixed the immediate problem.

Do you think DisplayLink will write a fix to the Nvidia problem?

Thanks for your help.:)
