Asus MB168 USB Monitor is connected to an Asus x101ch (Atom N2600). Desktop is displayed on build-in Monitor and external USB Monitor (mirror). Switchig to "expand display" doesn't word. I get a black Screen on external USB Monitor. All was tested with Drivers from Asus.
After that I installed driver from displaylink.com. Netbook tells me usb device unknown.
What else can I try to get this stuff to fly?
Thanks for any help, Gustav

Hi,
If you've got Windows 7 Starter Edition installed Extended desktop is not possible. This is a limitation of the OS.
If you have another version of Windows installed then please attach the output of this tool:

Thanks,
James

Hi James
Yes exactly, it's Windows 7 Starter Edition. Unfortunately this OS limitation is not mentioned on Asus Specification.
Is there a way to update, to get over this limitation? This Netbook has only 1GB of RAM and can not be upgraded. But it's fanless, no noise at all.
Thank you.

Hi,
According to Microsoft you can update this OS to a version that doesn't have this limitation:

Thanks,
