Hello everyone,
i have a problem installing the latest USB to VGA drivers (V7.5 M2).
I get an error message saying that i have a 3rd party usb to vga driver installed and a link referring to the uninstallation of the fresco logic usb vga driver (http://displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=360). The problem is that i do not have that or any other usb vga driver installed that i could remove.
And awkwardly i could install the driver two weeks ago just fine.
I already tried hunderds of reboots and uninstallations but nothing worked.
Please help me

Hi,
In the logs I can see a reference to a Fresco USB to VGA Device which was previously connected to your computer. It looks like some of the Fresco files have been left behind.
From a command prompt please run this command "sc delete FLxHCIv" and then try installing again.
If that doesn't work please download the DlCompatCheck tool from here http://displaylink.com/support/sla.php?fileid=111, run it and attach the file it generates. You can find this file (named DlCompatCheck.log in C:\Program Files\DisplayLink Core Software\Debug).
Let me know how you get on.
Thanks,
James
I've got a similar problem. Trying to install win8 driver. It said I have another graphics software installed, I uninstalled it and the accessories. I ran the support tool and it says I passed, no other USB graphics software installed but I still get the error message, after two reboots.
