Black Screen No Display or Not Recognized

i am having issues installing my DisplayLink. at first when i installed the software i needed to update my USB3.0 controller, which i did and the error went away. the screen stays black and nothing is being detected. after a reboot i sometimes receive the error about detected unrecognized USB driver and sometimes everything is fine and i seed the USB display adapter in device manager, but still nothing displays.

attached are 2 sets of logs, one being when the device is detected and no errors are displayed and the other after a reboot and the unrecognized USB driver error

i have done these steps about 5 times at least without any luck

You will need to return the device for a replacement.
