Help please! No output

Guys,

I seem unable to get any kind of output from my macbook air to a (white) displaylink usb->hdmi adapter purchased recently.

I am running Yosemite 10.10 and the 2.3b driver and have tried installing and uninstalling multiple times.

It doesn't appear in the USB section of my system.

I have attached the output of the LogSupport tool.

Can anybody help me ?

Hi,

The device in the logs is not using DisplayLink technology.

I'd suggest to go to the device manufacturer website and download the appropriate drivers.

Thanks very much for your reply,

Their download page (http://www.cablematters.com/cs-Downloads.aspx) links directly to the http://displaylink.com/support/mac_downloads.php driver download page.

Which driver should I be using with my hardware? I presumed the 2.3 Beta should be ok?

Im wondering if perhaps mine is an older USB3 device which actually doesnt use the DisplayLink driver. :(
