DisplayLink not working after a year

I have been running smooth with displaylink USB 3.0 dual video output dock until now. Whenever I plug in the display link device now I get 'Device not recognized' pop up from windows(with or without things connected to the hub).
It is repeatedly popping up and will not go away unless muted.

I have re-installed the drivers multiple times and I have downgraded to an older driver I know worked(DisplayLink_7.4M4.exe).

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a resolution?

Edit:
The display link manager does not show in the taskbar. The support tools throws an error that no display link device is connected, yet I am using the USB portion of it to type this.

Should I post the support tool output?


Edit:
Power cycling everything got my screen to turn on! Yay!!!
Still getting device not recognized, but I am unsure what issue that error causes at this point.

Does this happen on other USB ports on your PC?
