Yosemite 10.10.1 --Monitor does not wake up, docks corrupt

Once again bringing up this same issue. The second display does not wake up after the computer goes completely to sleep. You have to unplug and replug the dock in, then the display arrangement is wrong. Everytime. 4 times yesterday at work.

Docks look terrible, they are white squares.

PLEASE fix this.

I thought I'd give the thing a chance on dual displays but once again, I had to switch to using the macbook air display port for the second display. I have never ever ever been able to use this thing for what I bought it for.
