View Full Version : Jittery/glitchy video playback (any source)

Facebook, youtube, etc

I haven't tried other video sources though; but namely videos from webpages seem to glitch a lot like its having to catch up (no buffering lag though; the video just repeats itself real quick fast... the audio seems to be OK)

I'm running this off a Toshiba displaylink hub on a Lenovo Thinkpad Y50 USB3.0 win8.1 I have upgraded to the latest version of the DL core software 7.7M3 and I still keep getting the glitch; I don't remember ever seeing this glitch.

and I can't seem to figure out how to fix it

Does this only happen on DisplayLink screens? Do you have a video to show the problem you are describing?

seems to have fixed itself on its own... not sure why; so it may not even have been a DL issue, I don't know if there's a way to figure out what caused it but I know that rebooting it didn't help for the longest time.

But next time it does happen I'll get a vid.
