I installed the upgrade to 7.7 as recommended. Now I can't get my second display to work. I keep getting the message that old drivers need to be removed. As I found out in past experience the directions were lacking. Based on the instructions given from the website, I was not able to find any old drivers but cannot load the new ones.
Have you tried the cleaner from here to remove previous installs, then try installing again?

I did as asked and continue to get "Displaylink has detected USB graphics sotware installed from a different vendor. This software is not compatible with Displaylink USB graphics software and must be uninstalled before DisplayLink software can be installed
Everything worked before I tried the upgrade
It would help if you gave instructions based on Windows 8.1 instead of the older versions of windows too

I am so frustrated with your software. I have work to do and then run into this type of thing that requires time I don't have

Hello tsimpleman,
Can you please attach the output file from this tool, so I could see details of your compatibility issue:
http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=269
To do so, please run it and select "Gather Support Information".
To attach the file, please choose "Manage Attachments" under "Additional Options" in reply window. Then select "Upload" and navigate to the file which will be placed on your desktop in "DisplayLink Support Files".

Kuba
