Driver for usb 3.0 to HDMI adapter

Hello,

I cannot load the driver to my mac os x 10.5.8 laptop. It says the a run preflight script failed. How can i fix this problem? Please help!

Hi Pablo,

Our latest driver supporting 10.5.x is version 1.7. It's a quite old driver that does not support all the latest devices though.

You can find it here: http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/mac_downloads.php

If you have a more recent device and an older Mac that can't be upgraded to later OS versions I'm afraid we don't have a solution.

Hi Carlo,

Thanks for the reply. It does not say it is incompatible though. I can start the installation process but during installation it gives me the following error, "the following install step failed, run preflight script for displaylink software installer, contact the software manufacturer for assistance". I guess if there is no solution I am going to have to return the adapter.
