Hello,
I've been trying today to change the MAC address on MacOS 10.10.3, however it doesn't seem to work:
consta-mba:~ root# ifconfig en5 lladdr 9c:eb:e8:1c:32:03
consta-mba:~ root# ifconfig en5
en5: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,SMART,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
ether 9c:eb:e8:1c:32:04
inet6 fe80::9eeb:e8ff:fe1c:3204%en5 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x6
inet 192.168.3.140 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.3.255
nd6 options=1<PERFORMNUD>
media: autoselect (1000baseT <full-duplex>)
status: active
consta-mba:~ root#
The above is just a silly example (changing the last byte from 04 to 03 which didn't work.
Can someone please tell me if this is possible?
Thank you!
