Every time I try to install Displaylink, i get a message saying I have incompatible software installed. Then I try to find said software - nothing to be found on my computer. So I have removed anything even remotely connected to display graphics that might get in the way - then I do the display link cleaner to remove anything that was left on the computer and restart the computer. Try to reinstall at that point - still, same problem. I'm stuck and super frustrated.

help!

also, the ethernet and the sound drivers are not installing correctly - and I don't know what to do. I've tried multiple fixes - to no avail either.

best,
James

Hi,

Could you attach the output of this tool?

Thanks,
James

Ran that output program and emailed the file to the tech people. I hope I hear back soon. It's really annoying to have all these wires everywhere and things not working - rather than a nice docking station in the behind my desk where it all gets taken care of smoothly and works well.

I may end up re-building my CPU back to factory settings so I can have a clean slate and start everything fresh with no bugs.

best,
james

no response to that email yet... how long does it usually take?
