I know it's an old device, but I haven't used it for a while and it should be perfectly operational. And it was for a short amount of time when I connected it. Now it stays on the same frame when I connect it or disable/enable. There is of course a refresh upon doing this and I can drag windows that are on that screen from it (however, sometimes these windows haven't appeared until after the freeze so it's often guesswork), but nothing appears except the mouse cursor.
One of the weirdest things with this "freeze" is that if I hover the cursor over something that would change the icon, like the hand cursor on a button, it changes despite the screen's image not changing. This suggests that there's nothing wrong with the display itself, but with the software. Could it be a bug in the DisplayLink drivers? Have you encountered this before? Thanks.
